If this was intentional, I am curious as to what the reasoning was for it. By the way, when I'm trying the above code with a false setting, it's still not working properly. ![]() But I'd like to give an option to the players to be able to change the resolution in the game, but this way it's not possible. I guess this keeps us IT people in business, but it seems like a step back when it comes to being user-friendly. And when I set it manually in the monitor's settings, the game starts at 1280x720. You could create a custom RDP file for all users with the resolution hard-coded in, but then you have issues with incompatible resolutions or users complaining about not being able to adjust their resolution. ![]() ![]() I understand they can change the settings in MSTSC when they first login to the machine, but that is not obvious to most average users (certainly not as obvious as changing display settings in control panel on the machine). So in other words, if you are using Server 2012 for VMs on an ESX host, where machines are ONLY accessed remotely, there is no way for someone to change the resolution directly from their session unless they have access to the VM administration
